A website gets outdated if nobody touches it
WordPress is the most widely used website platform, which is why it is the most common target of attacks. An outdated plugin is the most common weak spot. One missed month of updates can lead to a website that shows another company’s ads or does not open at all.
The other problem is quieter. Things break without any noise: the form stops sending emails, a photo does not load, the page falls apart on a new phone. You find out from a customer who could not reach you.

Updating itself is not hard, but it is risky without preparation. A new plugin version may not fit the theme or another plugin, and the site can stop working. That is why we make a backup first, update in stages and immediately check the most important pages: the home page, the enquiry form and, if there is one, the cart.

Do you maintain websites you did not build?
Yes, as long as they are on WordPress. We review them first and tell you honestly what condition they are in. If there are serious problems, we suggest how to fix them before we take over maintenance.
How much does maintenance cost?
The price is fixed after a free consultation and depends on the size of the website, the plugins and how many changes you expect. We do not quote a standard package price, because websites vary so much.
How often do you take backups?
On a schedule suited to the website. A site that rarely changes does not need the same frequency as a shop with daily orders. We agree the schedule at the start.
What happens if my website is hacked?
We restore it from a clean backup, look for the weak spot and close it. The sooner you call us and the more recent the backup, the less is lost.
Can I order individual changes too?
Yes. If you do not need ongoing care, you can ask for just a text change, a new page or a fix for a problem.
Do you work with my hosting?
Yes, with most popular hosting providers. If your hosting is slow or unreliable, we will tell you and help with moving.
